Dr. Paul Schempp is a performance expert who provides research-based solutions and proven practices that solve high-performance problems and leadership challenges. As a University of Georgia professor, he conducts research into the characteristics and development of expert leaders and sports coaches.
He has authored six books including the award winning, "5 Steps to Expert". Known for his content-rich, inspirational and easily applicable presentations, he has delivered over 300 programs in 32 countries on 4 continents. As an internationally recognized scholar, speaker and consultant he helps individuals and organizations build and lead high performing teams.

Victoria is an expert in leadership development and has coached leaders across the world for the past 20 years. Originally from Sweden she now lives with her family in Atlanta, Georgia. She has led Commercial as well as Learning & Development teams for large corporations across Europe and the Middle East.
She works closely with the FranklinCovey innovations team and is one of the authors of FranklinCovey’s bestselling book on Leadership: Everyone Deserves A Great Manager – the 6 Critical Practices for Leading a Team. Victoria is an experienced facilitator and public speaker who engages her audience, on stage, online and in the classroom, no matter if 20 or 2000 people are in the audience.
Her global leadership experience makes her at ease both in the boardroom as well as with first level leaders. She always strives to help her participants move from insight to action, combining enthusiasm with focus and drive to help leadership teams achieve their desired results. She is a popular executive coach.
Dr. Eric Tobler is the National Clinical Director for Mortenson Dental Partners and Regional President of Stonehaven Dental. He also serves on the AAGDP Board of Directors. Dr. Eric has been practicing dentistry at Stonehaven Dental since 2007. His clinical focus is on providing comprehensive dentistry including IV sedation.
He attended Utah State University for undergraduate studies followed by University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Eric also earned his MBA from Washington State University. He is a Member of the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the AAGDP. He has volunteered on dental humanitarian trips to Haiti, Dominican Republic and Mexico.
Dr. Ed Hood is a native of and resident of Denham Springs, LA. He is a 1977 graduate of Denham Springs High School. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1985. He is a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association as well as the American Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Hood’s passion and desire is to provide the highest quality dentistry to all patients with the latest in technology and with highly trained personnel whose primary focus is patient care in a professional atmosphere, where comfort and trust are priority. Dr. Hood attends numerous continuing education courses every year to stay current with enhancements that make dentistry easier and more comfortable for patients. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and playing golf.

John Meis, DDS, FAGD, DICOI is a fourth-generation dentist and trusted mentor to over 4,439 dental practitioners. He’s an international speaker, mentor, coach, and author. He is an innovator in the areas of practice management and marketing as well as the development of leaders and their teams. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of TheTeam Training Institute, the CEO of SmartChoice DSO, and the CEO of Spark DentalNetwork.
As a dentist, Dr. Meis excelled as a top 1% producer in the United States. His practice tripled in just four short years -- multiplying one practice into an astonishing twelve. Dr.Meis has been actively involved with 319 dental practices in five countries to date, serving them with cutting-edge leadership training and practice growth strategies.
Wendy Briggs, RDH is a practicing hygienist, strategic advisor, speaker, trainer, consultant, coach, product developer, and author. She is the President and Founder of Hygiene Diamonds as well as the President and Co-Founder of The Team Training Institute.
Wendy’s excellence as a hygienist and patient care advocate has directly influenced more than 3,718 dental practices in 12 countries. She has a proven track record of supporting dentists, hygienists, and their teams in increasing patient care and doubling hygiene production, many of which are among the biggest and fastest-growing practices in the United States and Australia.
Heather Driscoll is the Director of Group Practices & Special Markets at The Team Training Institute and the Co-Founder of the Spark Dental Network. She's been a leader in the dental community since the early 2000’s. At the end of 2017, she followed her entrepreneurial spirit and co-founded Smart Choice Dentistry with Dr. John Meis, a small Dental Service Organization (DSO).
Previously, she served as the Vice President of Operations for Mortenson Dental Partners. She was responsible for the daily operations and leadership development in 120+ practices throughout the United States and was responsible for over $175 M annual patient care revenue.
Heather has supported over 50 practices throughout the US and Canada with personalized business coaching, leadership and team development.
Jim Philhower has been presenting to audiences for over 20 years. He brings meaningful, impactful presentations spoken from the heart and sprinkled with humor. Jim has over 35 years experience in sales and leadership. He incorporates the hard-earned lessons he’s learned along the way into his presentations.
Jim also integrates the legacy of his late son, Cole, in everything he does. This remarkable young man, wise beyond his years, impacted the life of his family, friends, coaches, teachers, and even other parents. Jim shares these principles Cole taught him with his audiences. In doing so, Jim succeeds in spreading the light of Cole’s life a little further, making it a little brighter with each life he touches.
Kevin Burniston serves as the Chief Operating Officer for The Team Training Institute. He leads the coaches and the team in serving dental practices around the US and Canada. Kevin is also a vibrant speaker with a passion for connecting with dentists and motivating the whole team.
Kevin's career in dentistry began as a sales representative, visiting dental offices. He's watched dentists cling to the mindset that to grow and help more people, they have to work harder. His goal at The Team Training Institute is to leave a legacy of providing the current generation of dentists the same ownership opportunities and career satisfaction as previous generations of dentists enjoyed.
